This is to provide the complimentary audio from the New York State Bar Association Committee on Animals and the Law's Third Annual Teleseminar with bestselling author Steve Chandler, who also serves on the Committee's Advisory Panel.  Each year Steve Chandler has engaged us in an inspiring discussion of tools to transform various challenges we face into opportunities and projects worth our time. 

Steve Chandler's latest teleseminar, "Non Linear Time Management", was recorded February 9, 2011 and drew upon Steve Chandler's new book, Time Warrior.

Further evidencing the value of the teleseminar is NYSBA President Stephen P. Younger's comprehensive approach to "shaping the future of the profession" which relates to the following challenges:

1.  Mentoring/training young lawyers in the practice of law.

2.  Achieving and maintaining work/life balance.

3.  Technological advances.

4.  Client billing strategies

The common denominator between all of these challenges is how we, as legal professionals, use and value our time.  Abraham Lincoln underscored the importance of time in his famous words, "[a] lawyer's time and advice are his stock in trade."

Still, one need not be a legal professional to benefit from this program.

On Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time, the Committee participated in a groundbreaking event.  At that time, best selling author and noted motivational speaker, Steve Chandler, joined the Committee for an exclusive one-hour conference call presentation and interactive discussion entitled, “Difference Making in Challenging Times”. Chandler is investing this time in support of the Committee’s growth and success.
