We are disappointed that Governor Andrew Cuomo chose to insert language to radically alter New York's medical malpractice laws and procedures in an Article VII budget bill. The changes would adversely affect the rights of victims who have suffered as result of medical negligence.
We call on the Legislature to reject the inappropriate language.
