Sarah E. Gold
Member-At-Large (Young Lawyers Section)
Sarah E. Gold of the Gold Law Firm in Albany was elected a member-at-large of the Executive Committee.
Gold concentrates her practice in business law. She forms companies, drafts and negotiates employment contracts, and helps both nonprofits and small businesses exercise their legal rights.
She is the current chair of the Business Law Section and a past chair of the Young Lawyers Section. She is involved with the Law, Youth, and Citizenship Committee, Committee on Leadership Development, and the Electronic Communications Committee. She also chaired NYSBA’s 2014 Young Lawyers Section Trial Academy.
Gold is a board member of the Capital District Women’s Bar Association and co-chair of the Small and Solo Committee of the Albany County Bar Association. She is also an adjunct professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, teaching business law.
A graduate of the University at Albany, Gold earned her law degree from Albany Law School.
