Deborah Masucci is Chair of the Dispute Resolution Section of the New York State Bar Association.
Masucci is an arbitrator, mediator and consultant of Masucci Dispute Management and Resolution Services, New York.
She was a member of the NYSBA Task Force on the Future of the Legal Profession and serves on the House of Delegates as a Delegate from the New York City Bar Association. A past Chair of the Dispute Resolution Section of the American Bar Association she launched Women in Dispute Resolution and is an advocate of diversity in the profession. She chairs the International Mediation Institute (IMI), and served on an IMI Task Force that established mediation advocacy certification criteria. She is a Co-Chair of the IMI Task Force on Mixed Mode Processes. She was actively involved in the launch of the Global Pound Conference tasked with determining the future of dispute management and resolution globally. She is a member of the American Arbitration Association's Commercial and Employment panels as well as the American Health Lawyers Association, Fellow of the American College of Civil Trial Mediators, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She is Co-Dean of the School of Mediation for the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance. She frequently writes on domestic and international dispute resolution issues.
She is a graduate of New York Law School and Manhattanville College.
