    About the New York State Conference of Bar Leaders

    The New York State Conference of Bar Leaders (NYSCBL) is first and foremost an organization for bar leaders dedicated to providing a forum for the exchange of information and ideas. 

    The Conference works to advance the objectives of the organized bar, encourages communication and collaboration among bar associations, promotes leadership development for present and future bar leaders, hosts workshops and programs that provide educational opportunities and foster networking.

    Fall Bar Leaders and Directors Teleconference | Tuesday, November 18, 2014 | 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.

    This is the second in a series of calls between September and May for all bar association leaders and directors to discuss issues impacting your organizations. New York State Bar Association Executive Director David Watson will be on the call.     2014 Bar Leaders innovation aWARDs

    The New York State Conference of Bar Leaders is pleased to present the 2014 Bar Leaders Innovation Awards for city, county, ethnic, minority, special purpose, specialty and women’s bar associations in New York State.

    These awards recognize how bar associations adapt to the needs of their members and the community at large by introducing new programs, ideas and methodologies that benefit everyone involved. Every bar association is encouraged to participate. Every new idea put into effect, no matter how small it may seem, is welcome for consideration.

    The awards program also provides information to bar leaders concerning new activities and projects that promote the public good, public understanding of the law or the professional responsibilities of attorneys.

    The 2014 awards will be presented at the Annual Breakfast for Bar Leaders held at the Hilton New York on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 7:30 a.m.
