Young Entertainment Lawyers Committee
The mission of the Young Entertainment Lawyers Committee is to provide law students and lawyers of all levels interested in pursuing a career in entertainment law with an opportunity to network with and learn from attorneys practicing in various industries of entertainment law. Our Committee strives to achieve this goal by offering its members with both entertaining and educational events that encourage candid communications and foster professional networking.
The Website Committee manages EASL’s Internet presence on NYSBA’s website. EASL’s website serves many functions, including providing information on substantive areas of law, announcing upcoming events, and highlighting the work of EASL’s committees. The Website Committee focuses on updating and adding content, and keeping links live.
Theater and Performing Arts Committee
The mission of the Theater and Performing Arts Committee is to promote discussion and educate members about the current issues relating to the live performing arts, and also to allow practitioners means to network or simply get to know each other better
Television and Radio Committee
The Television and Radio Committee serves lawyers whose work or interests involve broadcasting, cable, satellite, on-line and mobile electronic media, covering a broad array of content and distribution related matters, and encompassing diverse legal issues, in transactional, litigation/ADR and regulatory contexts.
