The New York State Bar Association’s Elder Law & Special Needs Section and the Committee on Continuing Legal Education are pleased to present Basics of Elder Law & Special Needs Practice. 

Program Description
Experienced practitioners will provide a foundational understanding of the major issues confronted in an elder law and special needs practice.  Designed as a basics course, the program will cover the fundamentals of document drafting, Medicare and Medicaid eligibility, and special needs issues.  Attendees will gain a basic foundation in elder law and special needs practice preparing them for intermediate and advanced-level programs and sustaining their growth as elder law and special needs practitioners.
