NAWL Report on Retention and Promotion of Women in Law Firms   |The National Association of Women Lawyers issued this report.  Findings include the following:  (1) “[t]here continues to be a disproportionately low number of women who advance into the higher ranks of large firms . . .”; and (2) “[f]irms view women’s perceived lack of business development and high rate of attrition as the two primary reasons why the number of women equity partners has not been increasing.”  Please join the discussion and read a list of other key findings in the NYSBA Community of Women.  Click on “Discussions” and thread subject “Women in Law Firms.”
