Ambassador Program

The Ambassador Program is available to aid your section in the development and retention of newly-admitted attorneys and future leaders of NYSBA and your section. The program is geared toward new attorneys admitted in the last three to four years.

Although there is currently a Young Lawyers Mentor Program that serves as a vehicle for legal consultation for new or young attorneys, the Ambassador Program has a different purpose. Section Ambassadors will serve newly-admitted attorneys by welcoming them into the section, encouraging their participation, creating networking and personal growth opportunities, extending personal invitations to section activities and events, and helping them understand the Association's importance, structure and leadership opportunities.

By providing a more inviting atmosphere for newly-admitted attorneys, your section will grow and flourish. Membership acquisition and retention will improve for the section and the Association, and future leaders will emerge and develop.

Ambassadors will be matched with a newly-admitted attorney, who is a member of your section. Ambassadors will make lifelong friends, and have a hand in developing your section's future leaders.
