David S. Howe was born and raised in Rochester, New York. He received his BS, MBA and Law Degree at Syracuse University.
Mr. Howe has broad experience in criminal and civil litigation. He was an Assistant District Attorney in the Onondaga County District Attorney's Office for three years and was a very successful member of its felony trial unit. He spent more than 25 years in the Litigation Department of the Upstate New York firm of Hancock & Estabrook, LLP. He served as the Chairman of that department and is a past Chair of the Trial Lawyers Section of the New York State Bar Association, as well as a member of that organization's Dispute Resolution Section. He is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers.
During Mr. Howe's many years of practice, he has represented individuals, small businesses and major corporations as plaintiffs and defendants in City Court, County Court, State Supreme Court and United States District Courts. In representing these clients, he has participated in cases covering the broadest possible array of subject matters. He has had very extensive experience in the areas of construction, trucking, products liability, medical malpractice, contract and all aspects of personal injury law.
With his broad litigation experience and the excellent communication skills that he obtained from many years as a trial lawyer, Mr. Howe is uniquely qualified to help parties resolve their differences quickly and cost-effectively.
In his life beyond the law, Mr. Howe is an avid skier, runner, photographer, hunter, sailor and traveler.
