Many companies are rapidly expanding the types of content they display and manage online. They are using digital platforms from websites to social media networks to publish original content, host advertising and interact with online users in diverse ways. As new business models proliferate, clients will be looking to their lawyers to help navigate this increasingly complex environment.
The purpose of this program is to give attorneys a basic grounding in online content management with a focus on recent developments in the following areas: customer privacy, intellectual property, native advertising, and liability under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act.
