What is The Solution Room?
The Solution Room is an opportunity for solo and small firm attorneys to discuss professional challenges with fellow solo or small firm lawyers. A facilitated format keeps discussion lively, allowing every participant to both give and receive advice on real-world challenges.
- Receive advice and support from your peers on a professional problem or challenge you face in your practice—and give it in return.
- Build connections with a small group of fellow solo and small firm lawyers through sharing your group’s challenges and ideas.
- Discover the broad range of peer experience available to you, and learn how to tap it for your benefit.
This program is designed for attorneys with a wide range of experience, from those with at least six months’ experience in solo/small firm practice, to 20+ years.
Your presence matters! Late arrival or early departure will affect other participants' experience. Because this is an interactive, peer-based program, please plan to arrive promptly, and stay for the duration of the session.
About the Facilitator: Adrian Segar, Conferences That Work, Marlboro, VT. Known as one of the most innovative event professionals, Adrian has over thirty years of experience designing, facilitating and convening participant-driven and participation-rich meetings all over the world. He is the author of two best-selling books on meeting design.
The Solution Room has been used successfully in a range of fields on multiple continents to engage professionals in productive discussion about mutually-held challenges. (Learn more about the Solution Room | Video testimonials from a past Solution Room) Feedback from members over the years has shown some commonality in the challenges faced by attorneys in solo or small firm practice. As an Association member, you have the ability to do just that--associate. Take this opportunity to share your experience with fellow practitioners, and gain practical insight into your own situation in return.
The information and materials being provided are general in nature and are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is being created through this presentation.
This event does not offer MCLE credit.
