Compliance is one of the fastest growing career areas. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, private sector compliance officer employment grew from 51,690 in 2002 to 115,160 in 2012, an overall increase of 122.8 percent. This steady growth and the changing regulatory market have driven the demand for compliance officers.
More and more frequently, attorneys are being asked “have you considered working in compliance?” But how many of us really know what that means? Our panelists will give you an overview of what compliance careers look like in financial services and health care. They will then give you guidance on how best to translate the skills you have to make yourself marketable for compliance positions in financial services and health care.
