Crafting an Elevator Speech to Explain Who You Are and Why the Audience Should Care
As the mythical elevator goes down, you have 30 seconds to begin a conversation. In networking situations the time is typically used to introduce yourself or offer a reminder as to who you are. Instead of saying what you do, a good elevator speech identifies your target market and explains the benefits of what you do. In this networking meeting we will discuss best practices for designing elevator speeches, and then participants will work in small groups on their own speeches.
