Congratulations to the winners of our 2014 New York State Mock Trial Finals!

• Region III - Notre-Dame-Bishop Gibbons High School (Schenectady, NY)

• Region IV - The Mount Academy (Esopus, NY)

• Region V - Brooklyn Technical High School (Brooklyn, NY)

• Region VI - The Brooklyn Latin School (Brooklyn, NY)

• Region VII - Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK High School (Plainview, NY)

• Region VIII - William Floyd High School (Mastic Beach, NY)

The Semi-Finals will take place on Monday, May 19 and the two winning teams will compete in the Finals on Tuesday, May 20. The trials will be held at at the James T. Foley Federal Courthouse, 445 Broadway, Albany, NY. 

Those who will be travelling to Albany for the Finals should be aware of the following important information: 

The winning teams and their coaches/advisors will be staying at the Hilton Albany located at 40 Lodge Street, Albany, NY 12207. Our room block is full - no extra rooms are available. Be advised that there are other events going on in Albany at the same time as our Mock Trial Finals. The other hotels in downtown Albany (Hampton Inn and 74 State Street) are already sold out. There may be some rooms available at the Holiday Inn Express on 300 Broadway.

Team members should arrive at the hotel on Sunday, May 18th to check in around 4:00 pm. A Winners Packet and a Friends and Family Packet have been provided to each team's advisor explaining everything in more detail.

Friends and family of the winning teams are welcome to come to the courthouse and watch the Semi-Finals on Monday, May 19. All teams MUST attend the Finals on Tuesday, May 20, however, due to space limitations, only team members and their coaches /advisors will be allowed to attend the Finals on Tuesday, May 20.  Due to the space limitations this year, any other schools or guests who are not part of the Mock Trial Finals should NOT come at the courthouse in hopes of watching the Finals on Tuesday - we will NOT be able to accommodate you this time.  You are welcome to come to one of the Semi-Final rounds on Monday if you like.

Everyone entering the James T. Foley Federal Courthouse must pass through a security checkpoint and a metal detector. DO NOT bring any cell phones, cameras, other electronic equipment or any items that will set off the metal detector.
