WARNING OF POSSIBLE FRAUD:
Here is a sample of the postcard that many Sandy-affected clients throughout the NYC area have received. The postcard closely resembles an official government mailing. One person, thinking the Human Resources Administration was contacting him, followed the postcard's instruction to "Call HRA" and was subsequently asked for all sorts of personal information, including his social security number.
If anyone receives this postcard, do not call "HRA," but instead report the incident to the Department of Justice's National Center for Disaster Fraud, 1-866-720-5721.
