Program Description
In 2015, the Workers’ Compensation Board held 261,446 hearings, assembled 142,830 claims, and issued 354,426 resolutions. It is no surprise that almost every attorney in New York is approached to represent an injured worker or an employer in a workers’ compensation claim. Understanding this area of the law is an important asset for any law practice.
This program will provide you with an overview of the fundamental concepts and issues faced in all workers’ compensation cases, together with seasoned faculty giving an in-depth treatment of several of the more complex issues frequently encountered by practitioners.
New and experienced attorneys will benefit from this practical program in which seasoned practitioners will discuss a variety of issues crucial to Workers Compensation practice.
